"Free Holiday Store" items: new or gently used clothing, toys, household accessories, decorations, shoes, linens, towels, dishes, etc.
Due to storage limitations, we cannot take furniture items. However, furniture donations are always appreciated by the Compassion Coalition.
When you are traveling ... If you don't use the shampoo, conditioner, etc that the motel provides for you - please bring them to Hope Center when you return home. We put these and other travel-sized items in Hope Bags for patients in the hospital. New/Used VHS or DVD Movies for our Video Library. Our Video Library is used by patients and caregivers at Fort Sanders Regional. They appreciate the diversion, especially during extended stays. Books/magazines (new or used) for the Hope Center Library. The Hope Center Library is located in the lobby area by the elevators on 7N. It is available to all patients and their families during their stay at Fort Sanders Regional. While most books/magazines are returned, we always need more to keep the bookshelf stocked. Please check that donations are appropriate for a general audience. Generic All Occasion Cards ... Birthdays, Sympathy, Thank You, Blank note cards, Etc. Gift cards (Kroger, Wal-Mart, Food City, etc., $5 - $10 value) Gift cards supplement nutrition needs for patients with disability incomes.
